Intro to Cybersecurity & Linux

CodeX is proud to announce our first Introduction to Cybersecurity & Linux course. The class will consist of hands-on instruction at the Emond Center for Engagement in Boston’s Seaport District. This course is offered at no cost to all members of the military community, including Veterans, Active Duty servicemembers, Guard/Reserve members, and Gold Star Family members.
Course participants will learn about Linux architecture and distributions, essential navigation and file management commands, and process monitoring and system information tools, and more.
Spots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis with only 10 seats available. Fill out the form to apply and save your spot.

Will materials be provided?
Computers and all other necessary course materials will be provided on-site.
Who can participate?
The course is open to Veterans, Gold Star Family Members, Guard & Reserve Members, and all active duty service members.
Please note that documentation/proof of service will be necessary to verify military community status.
Is there a cost to take the course?
InnoVets is excited to offer this intro class at no cost to the course participants.

PARKING
Please note that free parking is limited, so we recommend taking rideshare options such as Uber or Lyft. Paid parking is available at 12 Drydock Ave, Boston, MA 02210, and is about a 5 minute walk from the ECE.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Emond Center for Engagement is accessible via the #7 bus route from South Station, or the Silver Line routes #1, #2, and #3.
