Technology Training for the Military Community
Through CodeX, we aim to bridge the gap between military service and civilian careers, ensuring that Service Members and Veterans thrive as cybersecurity and IT professionals while contributing to the innovation and broader safety and security of our digital world.
Our next class will focus on an introduction to Python coding for students with little or no background in programming.
Course participants will learn about the basics of computer science and fundamentals of programming in a relaxed, easy-to-learn atmosphere using the Python programming language.

What is CodeX?
CodeX, by InnoVets, is a technology education, training, and mentorship program for Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, Guard and Reservists, and Gold Star Family members. CodeX provides the framework for motivated Veterans to build successful careers on their terms.
Class Format
CodeX is offered in-person, offering face-to-face instruction from industry professionals. Students will have access to their instructors, ensuring an intimate understanding of the relevant materials and an opportunity to interact with and learn from their fellow classmates.
Program Benefits
CodeX stands out as one of the few in-person cybersecurity programs available, designed specifically by Veterans, for Veterans. The program is uniquely tailored to leverage military experience, ensuring a smooth transition into a civilian cybersecurity career.
Participants will be trained in the basics of Linux, including Linux architecture and distributions, essential navigation and file management commands, and process monitoring and system information tools.
There is no cost to the Veteran or Servicemember to attend, and all equipment and materials will be provided onsite.

Who is eligible to participate in CodeX?

When is the next cohort offered?
Registration for first CodeX cohort has ended and the class will be taking place the week of October 28th.
